How we verify carriers

Unclaimed listings

We build basic listings from public sources only: the carrier’s own website, official lists such as the Port of Vancouver Truck Licensing System company list, and public drayage directories. Each detail links to the page it came from. If no source states something, the listing says “Not yet verified”. We never fill a gap with a guess.

Verified listings

  1. The carrier claims the listing from a work email on its own domain.
  2. We look up its safety rating on the free provincial lookup (Ontario CVOR, Quebec CTQ / NIR, or the home province’s NSC record).
  3. We review its certificate of insurance.
  4. We call back the number published on the carrier’s own website.
  5. The carrier approves its profile. It then shows a Verified badge and the date.

Re-verification

Every 12 months, and right away if a shipper complains or a safety rating changes.
